Plasmage

  • Reduces wrinkles
  • Skin tightening
  • Encourages collagen production

How it Works

Plasmage delivers Plasma Energy to the skin via the hand piece tip, generated by the ionization of the gas in the air. Plasmage provides a non-surgical treatment for wrinkles, especially around the eye and mouth area.

Procedure

The plasmage procedure involves the creation of multiple micro-thermal zones along the edges of each wrinkle in the treated area. Pain relief is usually required and can be applied topically prior to treatment. These thermal zones will cause skin tightening and collagen production, thus reducing the wrinkle appearance.

Results

Treatment results are subtle and more gradual than some other treatments. This is because the treatment relies on the individual’s production of collagen. Results are usually seen numerous weeks after treatment and individuals may require more than one session.

Downtime

After treatment there may be redness and swelling in the treated area. In the following days after treatment the skin can start to crust. It is advised to not touch or aggravate (scrubbing) the treated areas while the crusting process occurs. These crusts are crucial to the healing process and are protecting the new skin forming underneath.

All of the above information can be discussed at length during a complimentary consultation in our clinic.
